merry christmas!! and hi to people i didnt know read this haha christmas in moncton with julies family was fun. not nearly as awkward as i expected haha julies cute as shit haha i didnt think id ever see anyone thats 26 years old and thaaaaaat excited on christmas eve haha from like 5pm until 1am just pure hyper excitedness haha her family was cool too. her twin sister and mom and niece were around a lot. her other sister who is the mom of the niece dropped by for a few minutes so i barely met her. her niece is 7 and hyper and decided that me and julie were in love. it was quite the moment...or 5 minutes of her accusing us haha mm and now im eating a box of chocolates that julies mom got me! yup..the entire box haha soooo good!! im back in charlottetown now and its lonely. no ones here! everyone at my house is gone and everyone from across the street is gone too. 9 out of 10 of us are gone. now to watch a movie with ally haha |

My two best Xmas presents. Blake got me the pink & white Leafs jersey (I got him a Leafs home jersey - both from Wal*Mart) and Madison MADE me a pair of pajama pants. She followed the pattern and made them (almost ) entirely by herself and she actually did a pretty wicked job. I'm impressed! Anyway, I cut my face out of the picture because I'm still sick, I have a giant zit and I look like crap.   My mom was supposed to be here at 1pm, but I got an e-mail from her at 1:38pm saying that she was JUST leaving. If you knew my mother, you would know how typical this is. Anyway, Xmas round 2 is about to happen... Current Mood:  impressed |

yeah....so...got some crazy amazing gifts from my boyfriend...holy shit..... I got him good stuff...but added onto it once he spilled the beans to my sis about ONE gift and gave me another earlier (right before a work party) so that I could wear it then and there.... oh, and did I mention my family loooooves him. it's sickeningly cute. |

Dream Logic.
Sometime around 6am, I woke up to use the bathroom. I had a phrase from my dream repeating itself in my head as I sleepily walked down the hallway and for some reason, it sounded like the Most Important Sentence in the World. Probably because I wasn't quite awake. So before I got back into bed, I wrote this phrase down (after repeating it several times to be sure it made sense) and when I was good and sure this Extremely Important Phrase wouldn't be lost.. I went back to sleep. So, it's now 11:30am and I remembered doing all that. I looked at the notebook where this Important, Sensical, Possibly Life-Altering Sentence was written down. It was: I'll pay a flesh and strudel visit later. |

its christmas time! sure theres no snow outside except for a few tiny piles that used to be big ones. and i was just outside in shorts and a tshirt and wasnt uncomfortable at all hah but its christmas time! almost time to go to moncton! time for some julie...almost time to open presents. i saved the ones my mom sent (most of em lol) for christmas morning plus i guess julie got me something. woo! i just wrapper her gifts in some paper with martinis n shit on it and some stuff with green shit all over it. same paper actually just different sides lol i had to use green masking tape because the scotch tape is missing and the box for randy marsh is some like packing cardboard thing that came inside my camera i think. not even a full box. but makes a nice protective case to go around him. plus i took some bubble wrap from work the other day since its all over the place. dentist gave me a new tooth yesterday so eating is good again lol its not really a new tooth...just mostly a new tooth haha i wish it was gold though. silver fillings are a fair bit cheaper than the normal white ones(apparently its normal haha when i used to go to the dentist they never had white fillings) so ive got silver fillings. and this new one is a big one so its almost like i have a silver tooth lol so close to being a high class pirate! haha i like christmas! i like giving people presents. it sucks that for years christmas isnt fulla people for me usually. lately ive had one person to give gifts to. last year i had more but not fun people lol i like fun people. last year i had chelsea who i ended up totally spoiling since she had just got a wii and totally needed games n stuff. this year i cant spoil anyone cuz im poor but its fun gettin julie stuff. sadly i was poor but it worked out because making her randy marsh was awesome fun and she will love it! |

Last minute Christmas save.
I actually managed a hangover last night. On two glasses of wine and a vodka soda.. so not used to drinking. I really like Oli's co-worker's family though, his wife Bea is Thai and I find it really easy to click with Thai people - they're so warm and friendly and speak their mind. They have a cute daughter too who wanted to show me everything in their house and was leading me around to point out all her toys. Bea cooked us a really yummy Thai dinner and we chatted and drank all night. Allister (Oli's co-worker) has a ridiculous amount of alcohol in his house for Oman, and both Oli and I had to cut ourselves off before we reached stumbling mess. We ended up with hangovers when we got home and passed out before midnight. When we leave this country we are going to be severely drinking-impaired. Bea invited us to come on Christmas day for a party they're having, and thus saved us from a depressing day of moping around the house. Apparently there will be civilized guacamole, and later a turkey. I want to bake cookies so I can bring something but I'm not sure whether I can find the ingredients here. Might go on an ingredient shopping hunt later today. Anyway, it was really nice to meet people that were easy to talk to, and under 40. It might make it slightly easier to keep sanity until we get out of this place. Current Mood:  okay |

so its the 23rd but it feels like the 24th. this is a strange christmas. for years now christmas hasnt been what it was when i was a kid. because im not a kid anymore. on christmas eve i can just go to sleep no problem. no staying up all night because youre too excited to sleep. but even thought its not christmas eve yet and im 30...this is as excited as ive been at christmas time in a long long time. tomorrow i get to see julie! also i get to get off pei for the first time since june. but its been over a week since julie left and ive missed her a ton. sure we talk a lot online still but its not the same. but tomorrow we shall be reunited! were having christmas eve in style with nachos and movies apparently. im pretty excited to spend christmas with julie! and pretty happy at how christmas is turning out this year. |
